Lake Wylie stretches 32 miles from the Mountain Island Dam in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina to the Wylie Dam in York County, South Carolina. With six boat access areas, you can easily get your boat on the water, and thanks to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens and the McDowell Nature Preserve, there will always be plenty of undeveloped shoreline to enjoy.
